The stuff it's about

Normally, the home page is used as the main post for blogs. Contrary to popular use, I am going to use it just for direction.

Each page listed above, has its own topic. Below is a list of those topics. Therefore, you probably will not see anything new posted on the home page. Unless of course, I change my mind. I get to do that. 

• The People - Stories, tales and interviews of friends I have in Europe and abroad that are missionaries - their adventures, how God is using them, what God has done through and in their lives, the people, culture and countries they are ministering in. All of it, from a personal level. Other aspects of it will be, how you, as a reader, can become a part of what they are doing there, through prayer, helping financially or actually going out and assisting them in their work. Basically, I want this blog to be a catalyst in getting you to get involved.
(I apologize for the way this paragraph is going to the next line in odd places. I have tried to change it but to no avail)

• Leaving the Path - A travel and adventure guide communicating stories and adventures of where my family and I have been. The experiences that I share will be notes on great places to see and visit that will probably be off the beaten path. I will also share with you interviews with locals and their cultures. Maybe you can use it as a tool for when you head out as a missionary. A lot of it will be focused on our upcoming trip to Europe this summer.

• Chewing the Fat - I am kind of, how do I say, not on the skinny side. OK, I'm a walrus butt. Follow along as I transform myself into a studmuffin ... (giving you a little time so you can laugh that off.) You get to read, for the next several months, my getting in shape adventures. Hopefully you will get a laugh at some of my stupidity, but most of all I hope you are encouraged and blessed by what God does in me.

• Will work for Prayer - Issues and needs that we are praying about and how you can join in. Not only will this be personal requests for us but also a place where we will post prayer needs for you and whatever we feel needs prayer.

• Family Gab - What's going on with the wife, kids, dogs, cats, bunny and maybe a bee or two. I think we'll focus on the wife and kids though. They might appreciate that. 


• General Ramblings - Anything I find interesting that I hope you will find interesting. Could be videos, photos, quotes from others, etc. and whatever.

If you have any ideas for me on what you think I could write about, how I absolutely reek as a writer (well... we can keep those to a minimum), or prayer you would like me to post, please do not hesitate to email me and let me know your thoughts.
